Welcome to Cindy`s Family Of Sauces
Pete's Original Hot Dog Sauce is the first offering in our line of unique, homestyle sauces and family recipes. It is a coney style sauce that was my grandfather's recipe that he served everyday at "Pete's Drive-In" on the East Side of Toledo, OH in the 1950's.
I come from a long line of cooks as well as farmers and gardeners. Anyone who has grown a tomato knows of the pleasure of turning your lovingly grown vegetables into delectable meals and "putting up" the extras for enjoyment over the winter.
Everyone in my immediate family likes to cook and my daughter Rachael is even a certified chef. My passion in the last few years has been to develop my own "family recipes" using my homegrown vegetables and locally sold and grown meats and other foods. My husband Ken is a huge hot pepper fan, so many varieties have been incorporated into our homemade dishes and sauces. We live by the motto that the family that eats (and cooks!) together stays together.
